Events

As well as temporary exhibitions, numerous cultural and musical events take place in the wonderful setting of Runkelstein Castle.

The ‘KLANGfesteMUSICALI’ events organized by the Südtiroler Kulturinstitut have been held here for many years, taking place between June and July.

In addition, during summer and autumn, events which are part of the ‘Castelronda’ and the ‘Long Night of the Museums’ take place in the castle. Both are wonderful occasions to visit the castles and museums of the Bolzano area.

Long Night of the Museums

The museums in Bolzano open their doors for the "Long Night of Bolzano Museums" and invite visitors on a journey of discovery through history, nature, and art from 4 PM to 1 AM. Until the early hours, there is a colorful program with guided tours, exhibitions, concerts, games, and fun.

A behind-the-scenes look is also possible.

From 4 PM to 8 PM, the museums' offerings are specifically geared towards families with children.
